  • 1 lime, juiced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp cumin

  • 1 tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Fries:

  • 1 bag frozen French fries (or make your own from 3-4 russet potatoes)

  • Salt, to taste

Toppings:

  • 1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese

  • ½ cup diced red onion

  • ½ cup chopped cilantro

  • 1 avocado, diced

  • ½ cup crumbled cotija or feta cheese

  • Tursh’s OG Spicy Green Chutney (to taste)

  • Optional: sour cream, jalapeño slices, lime wedges for serving

How to Make Carne Asada Loaded Fries:

Servings: Serves 3–4 people

1. Marinate & Cook the Carne Asada:
In a bowl or resealable bag, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours).
Grill or sear steak on high heat for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Let rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain and chop into bite-sized pieces.

2. Cook the Fries:
Bake or air-fry your fries according to package instructions until crispy and golden. Season with salt while hot.

3. Assemble the Loaded Fries:
Spread fries on a large serving plate or tray. Top with shredded cheese while fries are hot so it melts nicely.
Add chopped carne asada, red onion, avocado, cilantro, and cotija cheese.

4. Drizzle with Chutney:
The magic moment: drizzle generously with Tursh’s OG Spicy Green Chutney for that herby, spicy zing that brings the whole dish to life.

5. Serve & Enjoy!
Serve hot with extra chutney, lime wedges, and sour cream if you like. Perfect for sharing—or not.
